APPLICATIONS
|
Diglycidyl
resorcinol ether, difunctional
glycidyl ether of resorcinol; containing 2 epoxide groups ( three-membered ring cyclic ethers that are also known
as oxiranes or alkylene oxides). Aliphatic glycidyl ethers are used as epoxy
resin diluents
to reduce viscosity, favoring improved
filler loading and substrate wetting and resulting in
faster curing time. Aromatic glycidyl ethers are used as agent
to reduce
elevation temperature and to improve homogeneity by
protecting crystallization of epoxy resins. End applications include coating, adhesive, casting, laminating,
encapsulation or foam. It is used as a epoxy resin modifier for the fast
cure and for the improved chemical resistance.
